Avada: Installation & Konfiguration

Theme Configuration for our Pagespeed-Test

Last Refresh : Theme-Version 5.8.2

After theme-activation, Avada recommends installation of additional plugins. We install that ones which are marked “required”.

We avoid to install a Demo, as PageSpeed won’t be comparable anymore between different themes – the content would be too different.

Nothing else adjusted in theme settings.

With Avada we were required to adjust our WP-Rocket-configuration and to activate the Safe Mode for jQuery – this results that Scripts slow down pageload. That could have been avoided, but Avada does not implement jQuery-Commands optimal – as attached files – but inline. This results to a Javascript-error, when inline-scripts are trying to use jQuery, which isn’t loaded yet.

That’s why Avada additionally looses about 15-30 Mobile-Pagespeed points – so this behavior has a kinda big effect on PageSpeed.
