Wordpress Comments not retrieving forum avatar

Recommended Posts

you may retrieve the comment's author email address and combine that with the following code:

<?php// assuming $comment has current comment data, change this variable name to suit to your theme vars.// get board's user id from comment's author email$user_id	= $GLOBALS['ipbwi']->member->email2id($comment->comment_author_email);// print avatarif($user_id > 0){echo $GLOBALS['ipbwi']->member->avatar($user_id);}else{$user_id = false;}

But that has to replace the current function in pluggable.php? I've tried to integrate it but gravatar is messing up with it.

Hey Matthias, can you be a little more specific on what fileas are needed to be touched with your example code?

(i dont't have comment_template in my theme, i have it on the global include folder, if i add your code there it works but just echoing the response from ipbwi avatar() will give me a too large image, without the avatar class and i don't know how to make it smaller)

Thanks!
