Our Wordpress site uses the Magic Members plugin to control membership.

Magic Members uses pages and shortcodes. Login and Register is on the front end.

We are using IPBWI "Single Sign On." IPBWI is activated and running.

The first problem is when someone tries registering on our wordpress site, the challenge question field is not being displayed. The result is an error message:

"Error: Answer of Q&A Challenge not correct"

How can we get the challenge question to show up during registration? OR is it better to turn it off?

Maybe there will be several problems to address on this topic. I hope this conversation can help your community because Magic Members is a very popular plugin for Wordpress membership sites!

Thank you,
James

I'll check the Q&A issue. I've already fixed that, but it could be possible that there is any change in IP.board code in the meanwhile so I have to update the fix. I'll check that first.

About Magic Members plugin: IPBWI for WordPress need to replace some login/logout/accountcreation functions of wordPress. That's a normal way and required to make SSO work. BUT: if Magic Members tries to replace the same functions for it's functionality, either magic members or IPBWI for WordPress will not work as intended.

I tried to find contact information of magic members support to find a solution to make compatibility possible, but unfortunately I can not find an email address on their website: http://www.magicmembers.com/contact/

Matthias,

You can contact them through opening a support ticket. They are very fast at replying. Also, if you wish you can let them know you are working with me on the issue. I am paying for their support. I will send you our info in a private message. :)

Thanks for checking this!
James
