Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Site error: the file /home/kmcke18/public_html/web/wp-content/plugins/ipbwi/wordpressLoadIPBWI.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation.

I am receiving the above error when installing this plugin. It says ioncube is not installed, however, it actually is. I have used ionCube for other things on the server such as ccbill and it works as intended. I have followed the instructions, including using binary mode for the FTP. Not sure what else to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Please check wether PHP 5.3 or PHP 5.2 is installed and download the associated IPBWI for WordPress package

Matthias,

Thank you for your quick reply. The server is using php 5.2 and I have downloaded and attempted to use the corresponding version of IPBWI. No luck and I am receiving the above posted error.

could you send me a PM with a link to a php file on your server, containing the following code:
<?php
phpinfo();
?>

I'll check wether ioncube is installed then.
