Hi,

I have been trying to setup the demo version of IPBWI for the past few days but users remain stuck with this error each time they log in wordpress:

IPBWI Errors
Error: #1: That username is already taken

It seems the cookies are working because we can still access the wp-admin/ directory after a manual refresh. We tried the SSO and redirect schemes with global cookies enabled both in WP and IPB, still the same error.

Any help would be great.

Please note, that username, email and password need to be the same for a useraccount on both systems, IP.board and WordPress, to get the automatic sync work. If the same username exists on both systems but with different emails or different passwords, sync and login will fail for security purposes.

It works with a test account created from wordpress, but existing accounts with the same username, password and email still produce the error.
Also, the lastestTopics widget fails to display the posts, it only displays the dates. What is weird is that it retrieves the right number of forums (as seen from the number of lines in the dropbox list in wp widget admin) but can't display them.
Any suggestions?

These problems are often based on bad install and bad configuration. The user accounts do differ when username is taken error appears and the latestTopic widget work just fine (see ipbwi.com which uses latest topic widget)
