Hi there

I am interested in this but having a bit of difficulty getting my head around this.

We operate an established website.
We also have a Forums, using ipb 3.2.2.
I am interested in letting people who have an account on our ipb forums log in to our main site.
We currently have a members area on the main site where people can write reviews and upload stuff.
With this application, and with some modification to our existing member area on our site.... Would that be possible?
And when they are logged into the main site, things like stats from the forums appear etc?

Is that essentially what this allows us to do?

Thank you!

Hi,

that's exacxtly for what IPBWI was made for. Check the live examples to get a view of the possibilities. You can order me implementing these features to your site.

Kind regards,
Matthias

Thanks.

I saw those thanks. I can see how when we are logged in we can have Forums stats and stuff shown on the site. That's great.

Can I just confirm though that we can implement this login to do "other" "non Forums" stuff on our site? So when a user is logged in using the Forums login, we can adapt our current member functionality so that they can do that as well (k you.ie. write member reviews on our main site, etc)? So it isn't just limited to "Forums stuff"?

Thank you.

That sounds great

I'm on 3.2.2 at the moment. What happens when and if we ugrade to 3.2.3 (and indeed beyond that).... would that cause problems?

Before I spend the time integrating stuff I really would like to think about it long-term, if that makes sense.

Thanks

IPBWI is compatible with IP.board 3.2.x, this means with all versions from 3.2.0 through 3.2.3 at the moment.
