Hello,

Currently we are updating an IPB 1.3 board to ip.board 3. We will probably use IPBWI for the interface between the board and the rest of the website.

For this we need to create new topic from the web site with the html enabled in the topic. I want to know if it's possible to do this without any modification in IPBWI ?

Thanks

Hi,

because I don't know wether the HTML you'll send through your website will be supported from IP.board 3, I can not give you a guarantee for that. So I'm strongly recommend setting up a test environment before upgrading the live site.

IPBWI support HTML to bbcode conversion via $ipbwi->bbcode->html2bbcode();, additionally, IPBWI supports using the built in IP.board Rich-Text-Editor for formatting posts sent from your site. You can install the IPBWI live examples or visit http://examples.ipbwi.com/ to get a preview of many functions.

Kind regards.
Matthias
