I have an application running with IPB forum on one server where I am using IPBWI for other folder based products under the same root directory. So I just need to include the path of IPBWI and forums in the IPBWI config flle and everything works perfectly.

I am not planning to setup a web application on different server and domain and I want to link up the existing forums on first domain to this new website so that my users can login to this new site with the same username and password.

This new website is developed using core PHP code no CMS used like joomla or Wordpress. Now my question is, can I do this implementation with the latest version of IPBWI?

Please help.

cross domain login via IPBWI is possible when forum AND website are on the SAME webserver (php files require local includes for security purposes). Open config.inc.php in IPBWI root folder and edit ipbwi_COOKIE_DOMAIN to the domain of your website.

Please note: cross domain cookie sharing is not possible because of security rules in any current browser. So the user needs to login to domain1.com and domain2.com each seperately - but the user can use the same account data for doing this.
