Hi
I'm getting the following error in wordpress
Error: Board path is not correct: /home/***/public_html/forums/
I have no reason to believe that this path is not correct. I have not changed the name of the Wordpress admin folder.
I'm using Wordpress version 3.1.2, IPB 3.0 PHP 5.3.6, ionCube PHP Loader v3.3.20.
The wordpress and IPB are both vanilla installs. Wanted to test things out before I throw them on some sites.
Let me know what other information you might need to help me.

yes I have verified in that way as well as by ssh.
I deleted everything on /public_html/ and did a fresh install of Wordpress IPB and IPBWI
now I can't a file not found error when I try to configure the plugin.
root@server [/]# cd /home/***/public_html/forums/ root@server [/home/***/public_html/forums]# ls ./ ../ admin/ cache/ conf_global.php* converge_local/ favicon.ico* hooks/ index.html* index.php* initdata.php* interface/ ips_kernel/ lofiversion/ public/ retail/ robotstxt.txt* uploads/ xml.php* root@server [/home/***/public_html/forums]#

Thats kinda strange - I've installed IPBWI for Wordpress on many environments and yeah. When there was a board path error, my customer often thought that the board paths they have typed in are correct - in absolutely all cases, the board path was wrong. I strongly recommend to make sure that the board path is typed in correct including a trailing slash. Additionally, you've written that you've not changed the Wordpress' admin folder. The admin path in IPBWI for Wordpress configuration is for board's admin path. Please be sure that this path is correct, too. The 404 error after reinstalling Wordpress and IPBWI for Wordpress again seems to be a misconfiguration on your side, please make sure you've installed on a clean database, too.
If nothing helps, I strongly recommend buying a license and ordering my installation service, more information on http://ipbwi.com/services/

I have this same exact issue. It's not a path problem because when I downgrade to an earlier version everything works.

did you checked that your admin's folder board path set in IPBWI for WordPress is absolute given, too? e.g. for topic starters example, admin's folder board path should be: /home/***/public_html/forums/admin/

copy a file named info.php with the following content into your board's root directory:
open the file in your webbrowser by visiting your board url + filename.
Search for "DOCUMENT_ROOT". copy the value of this row as board path. do not forget to close the line with a trailing slash if it hasn't one.
You board's admin path normally is your board path + admin directory.
If nothing helps, I'm quite sure the problem is userside, because there never was a case when IPBWI for WordPress has a bug in this situation. If the problem still exists, you need professional help, e.g. through your technical staff or buying my installation service for IPBWI for WordPress.
